Terms of Service

1. The service

LayerReview (“LayerReview,” “we,” “us”) is a design feedback and client review platform. Designers upload design files and video, invite clients to review them via a shared link, and collect structured, on-canvas feedback in a single inbox. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of LayerReview, including our website, dashboard, and review pages (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use LayerReview as a designer. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use LayerReview to:

• Upload or share content that’s illegal, or that infringes someone else’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Upload malware, or attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ accounts or data.
• Harass, abuse, or send unsolicited spam to reviewers, other users, or LayerReview itself.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

4. Your content

You retain all ownership rights to the design files, images, video, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). We don’t claim ownership over it. By uploading Your Content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, and display it solely as needed to provide the Service to you and the clients you invite, for example, rendering it on a review page, generating an AI feedback summary, or keeping version history. This license ends when you delete Your Content or close your account, subject to routine backup retention.

You’re responsible for having the rights necessary to upload and share the content you put into LayerReview.

5. Review links

Review links let anyone with the link view and comment on a design, without needing an account. You’re responsible for who you share a review link with. Treat it like you would any other link to unpublished work. You can revoke access at any time from your dashboard.

6. Plans & billing

LayerReview offers a free plan and paid subscription plans with higher limits. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancelling stops future renewals but you’ll keep access through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for.

Payments are processed by our reseller, Paddle.com, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases made through LayerReview. Paddle handles payment collection, taxes, and invoicing, and your purchase is subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms.

We may change plan limits, pricing, or what’s included in a plan. We’ll give existing subscribers reasonable advance notice before a change takes effect on their account.

7. Availability

We work to keep LayerReview available and reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted uptime. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LayerReview won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, including the acceptable use section above. Where reasonably possible, we’ll give you notice and a chance to fix the issue first.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we’ll notify you by email or an in-product notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use LayerReview after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
